News Update

July 29th 2020

Dear All,

It has been an amazingly busy first week and a half and we want to say a massive ‘thank you’ to all of you who have been able to make it up and see us so far. We really hope you have been able to enjoy the experience despite the restrictions we are having to work to. Thank you also for helping us work with these current rules as it is both for your own and our Team’s safety.

It has been busier than expected with a number of teething problems, which we are addressing. It has been lovely to see many folks from outside the village with many walkers stopping off to enjoy some food and drink.

There has been lots of positive comments about the food and our menu, and Martin, our new chef, has been working his socks off to deliver tasty dishes. We are assessing the menu and it will keep adapting over the next few weeks as we find the perfect balance.

Sunday Roasts

A number of you have asked if we are doing roasts on Sunday and the answer is ‘yes’. We have a few ideas up our sleeve as we progress to make this an even more enjoyable option, but we are moving slowly to start with.
